As related to the article A Multidisciplinary Approach to Total Joint Replacement that was featured in the June 2007 issue of the Journal of PeriAnesthesia Nursing (2007;22:195-206), please note that Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial no longer uses the term “Human Motion Institute.™” When the total joint project was first initiated, the hospital was associated with the trademark term “Human Motion Institute.™” Effective January 1, 2005, the term “Human Motion Institute™” was removed and deleted from all educational materials related to the total joint replacement patients. Since 2005, the team has used “Total Joint Replacement Patient & Family Education” for all materials associated with our education program. The authors sincerely regret any confusion and/or miscommunication that may have occurred as a result of our recently published article.
